What is TPASS 2.0+?
TPASS 2.0+ is a "Frequent Passenger Discount Program" that operates on a cashback basis rather than as a fixed-price monthly pass, similar to the New York OMNY card. It uses a pay-as-you-go model and covers nationwide trips, including cross-regional travel.Program Highlights and Reward MechanismsLong-Distance Coach Discounts: Passengers who take designated intercity highway coaches at least twice a month can earn rewards, making it highly beneficial for long-distance commuters or those traveling home.
Digital Payment Integration:
Passengers can link their digital payment accounts or transit QR codes via ticketing apps (such as EasyCard, iCash, or iPASS MONEY) to automatically track and accumulate their travel records. High Rewards: Frequent riders can receive maximum reward credits of up to NT$2,500.
How to Participate and Check Your StatusReal-Name Registration:
You must first purchase an electronic ticket equipped with a TPASS PLUS chip. Then, complete the real-name registration on the ticketing company's website https://tpass.gov.tw/esgtms/svc/webui/home or the designated official platform to activate your frequent rider benefits and claim rewards.
Inquiries and Claims:
You can register and log in via the Public Transportation Frequent Rider Reward Platform or your linked digital payment apps (such as iPASS MONEY, icash, or EasyCard)[Pic1] to check your trip counts and reward balances at any time.
George recommends using digital payment apps, as rewards for the current month will be automatically deposited into your e-payment account by the issuer on the 25th of the following month.
For physical cards, you must visit convenience stores (such as 7-Eleven or FamilyMart) or metro customer service counters to claim your rewards via card-tapping.

TPASS Monthly Pass Program; an unlimited monthly transit pass is also available to save you money. For example, the Keelung-Taipei-New Taipei-Taoyuan region offers a NT$1,200 capped pass. [Pic2]
